Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is upon us. An important day of the year when you give tribute to the special women in your life. I want to transport you to the day you entered this world; a miracle and one of the happiest days for a mom. From your very first breath, her life was forever changed.

Fast forward to a few weeks later. You have stolen her right to eat, sleep and function like a normal human being. She may be thinking “what in the world did I get myself into”, but not for one second did she stop loving you.

For The Mom to Be:

For the Moms who are expecting! They are carrying a tiny human that means the world to them. They're already a mother and deserve to be recognized as one! These dresses are light for the hot months of summer and look cute with a comfortable sneaker.

Everyone has a different relationship with their mother, all personal and unique. No matter who you are, you have a mom. The person who would jump through hoops for your happiness. The person who taught you right from wrong. The person who seemed to have all the right answers to your problems. It is easy to forget the little things that a mother does and is difficult to understand why they do what they do, but there is ALWAYS a method to their madness.

Presents For Mom:

It's the thought that counts! If you are having trouble coming up with gift ideas, here are a few things that will put the biggest smile on her face.

I want to take a minute to talk about grandmothers. They have seen, been through, and experienced it all. They have raised your parent and watched them leave the nest to go off and build their own. Now, they are there to help teach you how to fly. I’m sure you are familiar with the “Well back in the day…” stories. LISTEN because someday you will be telling the same ones! My favorite stories are about what times were like when grandma was a little girl or what my mother was like as a child.

Mother’s Day is a time to give thanks to the woman that helped raise you to be the person you are today. Whether you are celebrating a future, new, or experienced mom, a small gift of appreciation will mean the world to them. It is not just a pat on the back to say, “good job!”, but it’s a genuine thank you for all they have done. This Sunday, write a letter, bring a purple violets bag to brunch, and give that special woman the biggest hug.

Happy Momma's Day!

Until Next Time 😉
